Hi all,

Thanks for all your support with the set-up of the charity in Saher’s memory. We have been overwhelmed with your kindness, and wanted to give a quick update to all our supporters.

So, firstly, the admin bit. We are in the process of registering the charity with the Charity Commission. This can take a little while, but once it’s done we will be official. We can then set about fundraising, meeting and deciding on future projects as any charity would do.  We will share our aims and objectives with you all once it is finalised.

Secondly, the more fun bit. We were so excited to hear from those of you who have already started to fundraise. Thank you so much for this. We will do all we can to support you in this, and will sort ourselves out so we can accept any donations. If you have any fundraising plans then please get in touch.

And finally, thanks again. We are ever grateful for your support at this difficult time. Every day is a reminder how much Saher is loved by her family and friends. With this charity, we will do our best to help students suffering from depression, their families and their peers.
